Hi Janetta, an impressive specimen! In NEw Zealand that is about as large as the species gets. Unfortunately they are a short-lived species that grows quickly in disturbed forest areas of NZ and their lifespan is probably only up to about 100 years of age. They are also very susceptible to trunk rot and root rot as they age and consequently become more susceptible to being blown over as they become older. I hope your one is not too close to a fence or house?
