  1. Kentia palms (howea forsteriana or belmoreana) wanted for UK

    Of course these palms are endemic to Lord Howe Island but the people dont want to export seed any more. Exports of seed ceased in 1982 and I used grow them from fresh ripe seed quite happily and now wish to do so again. These palms are surely growing in NZ. alistairjohnmackie@gmail.com. Thank you.

    Hello Alistair - the NZPCN is dedicated to the conservation of New Zealand native plants. Lord Howe Island is part of New South Wales, Australia and is also part of the Australian ecozone. I suggest you contact botanic gardens or the Australian Network for Plant Conservation.
