  1. Help with ID please, NZ native?

    Hi,
    I'm sure this will be an easy one for you experts. We've just moved into a property which is very overgrown and is hard to tell what has been planted and what has just sprung up. This tree is about 10m high but there are lots of wee seedlings about 10m away under a tree I assume the birds like to perch in.

    Hi Lisa,this looks to be a Pseudopanax hybrid.A cross between P.crassifolius and P.lessonii a garden variety hybrid and inclined to be weedy.
