    Hi there,

    I was wondering if someone could please tell me how long the taproot of the the Scree Buttercup is? The info will be helpful for narrating a documentary.

    They extend a long way for the size of the above ground plant I know. Peter Heenan at Landcare is your best bet for someone who might have measured it (he described the species). My guess that total length of the root would be abut 1 to 1.5m
