  1. Plant ID help

  2. While out walking in the hills (in the Eastern Bay of Plenty) today I stumbled across this, I'm not sure what type of orchid it is but it was the only specimen growing in the immediate area. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

  3. Hi Hirere, can you please upload a photo that is less than 500kb in size, and somebody will then try to help you. Thanks from Astrid

  4. Ah, it signed me out while I wrote it up, so my picture didn't post >_<
    Hopefully it works this time.

  5. A side view

  6. And this one

  7. The berries of the second plant

  8. And a overall shot of the shrub.

  9. Hi Hirere, the white flowered shrub is Pimelea prostrata I think - compare to this one http://www.nzpcn.org.nz/flora_details.aspx?ID=1125

  10. The orchid in Orthoceras novae-zeelandiae, the horned orchid. It comes in quite a range of colours

  11. The Pimelea is Pimelea orthia - which is not very common now. So that's a nice find.
