  1. What is this plant?

  2. A thick stalk, grows like a weed in our maize crops and has little yellow flowers on some of the plants. Pointy leaves and a slightly fury stalk. Kind of reminds me of a bean stalk but is not. We need to know if this is going to be harmful to stock,
    HELP?

  3. Hi, looks like cultivated spinach to me. Are the flowers in a spike at the tips of branches? Try a small taste. it can persist in cultivated situation. if this then obviously not toxic.

  4. I wonder about a plant called Miracle of Peru or 4 o'clock plant (Mirabalis jalapa). If it's that it should have a brown tuberous root and while parts are edible the seeds are poisonous, causing 'purging'. My reservation is that the flowers are quite large-say 2cm diam and can be of various colours, including different colours on the same plant. Once seeded it's very persistent
