  1. Plant identification please

    Hello there I have recently joined your great network thanks it is great. We have recently moved from Otago coast to inland Otago and I am getting to grip with the plants here.

    Attached are two photos.

    This plant has been puzzling me for a while. It is in my garden and I think it came from rescued local turf from a subdivision at Lake Hawea.

    I think it is a Schizeilema sp but has hairy leaves. Can anyone tell me what it is please.

    Hi Helen, yes Dichondra repens. You encounter it occasionally in Central Otago in the shade under shrubs
