  1. Plant ID please

    Hi, could I please have some ID help with this one? Less than 5m tall, edge of wet area, in association with kanuka, pigeonwood, mahoe, tawa, rimu, cyathea, in the bottom of a gully behind Taupiri (Huntly).

    Hi Paul. From your photo it appears to be Streblus heterophyllus, the small-leaved milk tree..

    Thanks Bill and John. I thought it might have been Streblus but was thrown by the fact no milk came our from the leaves or shoots- maybe it doesn't always?
