Did you actually purchase this as Uncinia fuscovaginata? If so this raises a pet issue of mine, i.e., nurseries selling mislabeled plants. I recognise that nobody is perfect, and some nurseries get it wrong by accident but I also recognise that some nurseries will continue to sell incorrectly labelled material - even after it has been established that this is the case. I am sure that there must be consumer laws governing such an action. If for example you buy an orange tree and it turns out to be lemon, well that's annoying (and it happens), but what about nurseries selling Juncus pallidus (when they are actually knowingly selling J. effusus) or Australian Leptospermum as L. scoparium. I once tried (1994) to get Consumer to investigate this but they thought it wasn't an issue. Sorry got off track here from your original query...
