Hi, can anyone identify what this tree is? It's common to my area but I can't track down what it is and it's driving me daft.
HI Ben, the New Zealand Plant Conservation Network is mostly interested in native species. This looks like the introduced and invasive tree privet - http://www.nzpcn.org.nz/flora_details.aspx?ID=3419. If you think that a plant might be not native you can always try iNaturalist.nz
