    Does the fruit of this plant have a tough skin and are seeds in ared flesh

    The hard kernels are surrounded by about 1-2mm of soft orange flesh with a soft but glossy orange skin. The fruit becomes more wrinkled as it dries out. Have a look at the photos here http://www.nzpcn.org.nz/flora_details.aspx?ID=805
