    This plant is also known as Tropical Milkweed - and there are two colour variations - Scarlet (as shown) and Gold. If you'd like photographs please email me.

    Thank you - I will add that vernacular in - this is timely - the NZPCN asked me to write an opinion piece about such names.

    Hi Jacqui - thanks - I am not responsible for updating the naturalised plants section of the NZPCN website. So its up to whoever is to take further action - but yes from my own perspective I would be delighted to obtain a copy of that paper - please send it to pdelange@doc.govt.nz
