does sophora tetrapera do well with any fertiliser I have put compost from my bin on it leaves grass , lime and dirt will this be okay ?

Sophora are in the legume family and are pretty hardy growing in a range of soil types. Most plants like a bit of lime, but probably don't need to side dress with other fertiliser. Grass in limited amounts can be a useful mulch - make sure it is dry so it doesn't get hot and 'sludgy' as it composts.
