    What should the seed pod colour be when Kanuka seed is ready to harvest. Will it still be slightly green or must it have turned brown for seed to be ready. thank you

    Brown to pale brown - when the capsule starts to turn brown is a very good time to harvest it, snip off the branchlets, upend them in a brown paper bag and allow them to air dry, the seed will then fall out into the bag. Once the capsule has opened most of the 'good' viable seed will have quickly dispersed
