    I was just wondering when the right time would be to sow Puarangi seeds?

    Any time of the year - particularly in Auckland. It is frost-tender but you will no problem in Auckland's climate.

    Just be aware that the potentially introduced Hibiscus trionum looks very similar to H. richardsoni. It certainly fooled me and a restoration group I know.
