  1. Possible native tree in bush?

    Hi - There are several of these large trees in the bush around my Ak house which have these "nuts" which look like small almonds when the husks are off - maybe prunus family? Suggestions would be welcome!

    Don't eat the kernels - very toxic. The fruit flesh is a bit like powdery apricot.

    Agree about the toxicity. Apparently dogs will eat them and get seriously ill too.
