  1. Pomaderris hamiltonii population near Kellys Bay on Pouto Peninsula

  2. I'm interested to know whether anybody else has noted a substantial population of Pomaderris hamiltonii growing along the roadside of Kellys Bay Rd (south branch) on Pouto Peninsula. There is a considerable number (perhaps more than a hundred) running along several hundred metres of that road. I have seen a record that Maureen Young made for one of the dune lakes at Pouto, so its presence at Pouto isn't a complete surprise. That said, I was surprised by the extent of the Kellys Bay population.

  3. Further to the above comment, I recalled reading a note about a record from a lake at Pouto, but couldn't find that just now (so apologies if that note re the prior record is incorrect). However, I have contacted Ewen Cameron about the P. hamiltonii population near Kellys Bay, which is of interest for the herbarium (and that effectively answers my query).
