  1. Kunzea ericoides variant?

    Hi there from the Lake Hawea reserve on the Southern lake edge beside the village. We are working on some interpretive panels for beside the track and I want to know if we have Kunzea robusta or K. serotina. No flowers but hoping someone can confirm from the photos of bark, general form and foliage with capsules.

    Hi,

    From these images I cannot tell you what you have beyond the same assumptions you have made - either Kunzea robusta or K. serotina (most likely) - in that area you have both species (and hybrids). If you wish to send me fresh young growth (so I can see the branchelet hairs) and capsules I will see what I can do - these should be posted to me at:
