  1. Daucus or Anisotome - ID species please

  2. Found at Castlepoint in the Wairarpa. Foliage thicker, more glossy than carrot foliage. Distinct grooves on upper surface of stem. Reminds me of Asplenium ferns but no spores or evidence of spores. Growing just above the extent of marram dune on limestone rock

  4. I was just about to add that, thanks John - it looks more like Apium prostratum subsp. prostratum var. filiforme than Apium prostratum subsp. denticulatum. What do you think

  5. Yes I expect you're right - subsp. denticulatum is meant to be endemic to Chathams and Antipodes
