    Looks like Semiarundinaria fastuosa. I suggest you collect a specimen - i.e. bits of all of the above and send it to the Auckland Museum (as you did last year with the Plectranthus) addressed to Ewen Cameron and ask that Dr Rhys Gardner examine it. It may also be a Bambusa. Excellent images Phil.
