    Hi. I have lot's of these popping up around my property. They flower white with lot's of white pollen and then develop small brown seed approx 3mm in size. I'm trying to determine suitability for Bonsai. I've Googled it to death and the closest I can find is some kind of small bald cypress.

    This is a Erica species.I suspect E.lusitanica Spanish Heath,its inclined to be very weedy as is its bigger cousin E.arborea also found locally.
