Leaf spots tan coloured with a brown, raised margin, circular to irregular in shape, up to 5 mm wide, visible on both leaf surfaces. This specific fungus has not been described. However, Mycosphaerella species generally produce small perithecial ascomata. The ascospores are usually ellipsoidal, hyaline, and 1-septate. Mycosphaerella species have been connected to several anamorphic (asexual) genera.

Collected on one occasion in August 1990.

Substrate

Associated with a leaf spot on Pisonia brunoniana.
