Brief Description

Bushy robust shrub with pairs of small wide thick rounded leaves of eastern Northland coastal and lowland forest. Twigs fuzzy at tip. Leaves around 1cm wide, variable, veins not easily seen on upper surface, small pits present underneath. Very small dark tooth on stem between leaf bases. Fruit orange.
