Life Cycle and Dispersal
Long lived small, deciduous tree. Reproduces exclusively by seed, which are held in cone-like structures, individual seeds orange, with a hard shell. Dispersed by gravity and probably by water. People may pick the seeds because they are colourful and so disperse seeds by discarding them.
Tolerances
Cold and moderately drought tolerant.
