Features

Erect shrub to about 1 m tall, appearing silvery due to abundant silky hairs. Simple obovate leaves very shortly petiolate up to 35 mm long. Pink flowers about 10 mm long, held singly in the axils of upper leaves. The seed pod is up to 35 mm long.

Similar Taxa

This species is distinguished from all of the other leguminous shrubs by the large simple silky leaves and the small solitary axillary flowers and very large, inflated, sausage like pods.
